This season, Massimo Piombo used a lot of unique fabrics in the Fall/Winter 2013 collection. The collection’s color pallet was very dark and muted with only a few pieces featuring color. Some of my favorite pieces were the a “deranged” houndstooth suit, the navy wool corduroy dinner jacket and double breasted plaid jacket with the yellow overlay. Piombo always uses different fabrics and colors to update classic pieces and silhouettes.
