Vote for The Kings Point by Melanie Berger – Allen Edmonds Contest
Allen Edmonds is holding a shoe contest with the works of a number of Parsons students were the winner gets their shoe produced. A close friend of mine, Melanie Berger, is one of the strongest contestants. Her shoe design, The Kings Point, is a military inspired boot featuring a removable ankle strap, a contrasting wingtip in full grain leather, sterling silver hardware, Norwegian welting, light brouging and military ranks on the bottom of the heel.
Vote for The Kings Point here. Allen Edmonds really needs to upgrade their online voting website. The voting allows you to vote more than once and does not log IP addresses. So vote a hundred thousand trillion times.

Melanie had a long thought process when coming up with the final design and here are some of her renderings, inspirations and the overall thought process. It is great to see the process of a great design.
