Monthly Archives: October 2011
Wishlist: November
(Simon Spurr Large Plaid Peak-Lapel Flannel Blazer – This is not just a regular plaid jacket. The fabric is truly unique.)
(Gant by Michael Bastian Cargo Pants – It is no secret that I have a soft spot for olive green. I wear my Uniqlo vintage chinos almost daily maybe these could replace them.)
(Todd Snyder Selvage Chambray Military Shirt – This is Todd Snyder’s first season and they have been really making waves. They make classic well made clothing that you can incorporate in your daily wardrobe.)
(Gant by Michael Bastian Lambswool Cardinal Sweater – This sweater is one of my favorite pieces from the collection and it really stood out during the presentation last February. It really is a cool sweater; chicks will dig it.)
(Porter Tanker Multi-Pocket Backpack – I need a new backpack…)
(Mark McNairy Anthracite Suede Long Wing Brogues – Last season, I missed out on getting a white buck with a similar sole. The sole is really outstanding in person.)
(Richard James Merino Wool Boot Socks – You never can have too many socks. Socks will always begin to wear in the heel and repairing them is usually a waste; just buy some new ones)
(The Tie Bar Pocket Square – This hand rolled cotton pocket square is only eight bucks; purchase like ten of them.)
(Gant by Micheal Bastian Prince of Wales Two-Button Blazer – The red glen plaid with the red elbow pads is a great combination. The soft shoulders makes this a really comfy jacket)
Norfolkin’
(Thom Browne Norfolk jacket, tie bar and sweater, George McCracken pants, Brooks Brothers Black Fleece shirt, Alden plain toe bluchers, Brunello Cucinelli suede belt, Ralph Lauren Purple Label sunglasses, vintage Swiss Army backpack.

Switched out the waxed laces for leather ones

Cucci Buckle

Yesterday, I was privileged to participate in Esquire’s Blogger Showdown. My opponent, Justin Bridges of Tucked Style, and I argued about the sensibility and practically of wearing a Halloween costume. Click here for the full version.
